OCA Members Meet with Ohio’s U.S. Officials at Fly-In
Ohio Contractors Association members and staff participated in the 2025 Transportation Construction Coalition (TCC) Fly-In, May 7-8, in the nation’s capital.

More than 270 transportation industry members – including OCA member representatives from Armstrong Steel Erectors Inc., BOCA Construction Inc., Gerken Paving Inc., The Great Lakes Construction Co., J.D. Williamson Construction Co. Inc., Kokosing Construction Co. Inc. and Shelly & Sands Inc. – from throughout the nation made the annual trek to Washington, D.C. to learn more about the new administration’s federal transportation priorities as well as meet with their U.S. Congress members. Joining the association’s contingent were OCA President Chris Runyan and Legislative Director Michelle Holdgreve.

The TCC Fly-In is a partnership of more than 30 national associations and construction labor unions. It is co-hosted by OCA’s national affiliates American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) and Associated General Contractors of America (AGC).

As in recent TCC Fly-Ins, OCA members met with their federal lawmakers away from the hustle and bustle of the U.S. Capitol Building by holding a breakfast open house at the nearby AGC Townhouse. OCA’s contingent met with U.S. Senators Jon Husted and Bernie Moreno and U.S. Representatives Shontel Brown (District 11), Marcy Kaptur (District 9) and Greg Landsman (District 1).

Portions of OCA’s breakfast meeting with Ohio’s federal officials will be highlighted in an AGC promotional video of the TCC Fly-in scheduled to be shown later this year at its annual meeting.
